BITCHSLAP! delivers heavy, crunchy, loud music with fuzzed-out guitar, big bass and drums, and eat-shit-and-die lyrics.
Led by the commanding Jess Coram, Bitchslap! was initially founded in Australia in the early 2000s. After reviving the band in Seattle in 2023, Bitchslap! is now established as part of the Twin Cities music scene. Riot grrrl meets grunge meets punk meets funk: this is one band you won't want to miss.

Born & raised in Australia, Jess traipsed the country and the globe as the founder of badass punks ‘Bitchslap’ and as the rhythm guitarist for Sydney dark alt-poppers The Mis-Made, resulting in multiple albums and a stint opening for grunge wave icons L7 in 2016. Jess toured with AC/DC tribute act Hell’s Belles from 2020 - 2024, as rhythm guitarist.

DJ was given her first guitar by her grandmother at age 13, and it was love at first strum. She went on to cut her musical teeth in a Bay-Area punk band in the 1990s. Outside Bitchslap, DJ is committed to giving back to the community through volunteerism and activism.

Chris has been playing drums for over 20 years, and is Minnesota through and through. When he's not rocking out with Bitchslap, you can catch him on stage with his other local acts, The 99ers, and Black Widows.
